Is it not only 26.960 to 27.410 MHz at 12W (10 kHz channel separation).

its basically the eu band, if you actually read the file on comregs site regarding citizen band radios as long as they comform to certain eu spec, we were always allowed to use ssb in ireland on the eu band, since 1998 infact

Seemingly the UK and the Netherlands have used their opt out option so?

I'm not understanding the UK, their UKFM band is being disbanded in a few years anyway and it was my understanding that hey'd implement the EU banding system.
