Hi peeps, newbie to the forum, calling from the UK Northumberland hills, just returned to radio after over a decade away from the hobby, getting back into it before I get too old and the Mrs has to tune things in for me

Welcome Kev hope you enjoy the forum.
The password for the database can be had when you take part and post on a regular basis. Read the rules for new members.

Hi all, names Neal and im from Bangor NI. Just bought a Yupiteru 7100 from fleebay for £60 and hoping to get into the scanning hobby. Seems like a great site with lots of helpful people so bear with me if i start asking silly questions. Hopefully if i post a fewmore times some kind person will hand me the keys of the database.

Cheers Neal

HI Chaps and Chappesses,

I've signed up last week for the 2nd time, Using a MVT-700, MVT-7100 and GRE PSR-295 that I take around to the shows.

Have not be been doing much listening with the scanners as the ol Discone has decided to give in the ghost and a couple of elements have been broken off by the birds not helped with corrosion in the Aerial head plus 2 kids.

So I need to get another Discone and replace the coax in order to start again.

Its mostly Air I listen to and can pick out ground to air from Cork / Shannon and Waterford most days (with a working Roof aerial!!)

Cheers

George
