Another new one here. Think it must be the recession or something but went up to attic and took down my Realistic Pro 2005 and powered it on, and am back intrested in the airways. Quite a few topics and posts on the fourm to keep me bussy reading for a while, so just like to say hi and look forward to been part of the community.

Im back again, this time i am unemployed. I have residence of my four children so gave up work to look after them. I hope to have some evening times to get back to scanning again. I have 3 scanners at present, alinco djx2000, an old comtel sportscan and a realistic pro 2039. I hope to be able to link one up to my laptop system at some point or purchase one which i ca.

Hi Paul. very happy with it. Thinking of upgrading allready. Found a guy (online) who has a shop in Donegal and was chatting to him about the ubc800xlt, but now can't find his online shop. Can anyone help on this. Didn't add his shop to favourites on the computer.

Cheers!!

Was it long communications? http://www.longcom.ie/ Have a look on the for sale section here and there is a site called junksale which is quite good.

I second that. His eBay Store can be good value as well. I got my UBC3500XLT from him last month, good value.

He runs a good shop for sure. Think it was from him that I bought my 3500xlt from also. The reason I am veering towards long communications is that he will give a trade in equal to what I paid for the 900xlt. So it saves hassle and time. His 800xlt is a little expensive all the same.

RG-213 or better for installing a discone.
