Never heard them using UHF before, what kind of information was given over this frequency, was it just instructions on turns or where they would be operating ?

it was just instructions from what sounded like the formation leader . i had that frequency listed as an RAF frequency . But i thought it was a nice catch as i live 5 mins from Baldonnel and have never heard any uhf coms before.

I have only ever picked up a 5 PC-9 formation using 129.700 before but don't think they use this frequency anymore, its a Ryanair company frequency.

when they first started out I caught 5 or 6 PC-9's and the Casa on 244.300 ....

thats a few years back now, I hav been told about these ones though since then

279.000 and 316.300

supposidly designated as Uniform 1 and 2 ....

along with 150.625 NFM....

seen as 316.300 has now been confirmed, I'd throw the other two into your receivers too ... (my scanner is bust atm, so if anyone hears anythin on them be sure to post it up :D )

130.550 is another Air Corps frequency, but only ever heard the helicopters and the Casa on it

Morning,

for the hell of it I put those freq's into the receiver last night. I've got hits on 130.550 & 316.3, squelch is set too high on the radio at home though so audio is pretty broken up on 316.3

W279 dropping parachutists over Curragh on 130.550.

Interesting log, any more similar would be most welcome.

Can anyone confirm the following are still in use with the IAC: 125.025; 128.800 & 389.700 ???

Thanks
