Local nets
« on: February 06, 2014, 13:31:46 PM »
Hi all,

I'm starting to get into 11-meter and I was wondering how active it is for local contact? I remember seeing the Hotel Romeo website a couple of years ago but it doesn't seem to be there any more. Are they operating any more? They used to work 27.515MHz I believe.

I am in the Galway area and I was wondering if people are working local stations. I haven't heard anything although I heard one station talking to a station in Mayo last night (couldn't hear the guy in Mayo obviously).

11m seems to have died back again after a recent revival.

Hotel Romeo does not seem to be operating, surprising given the size of the club.
