457.2000 MHz digital/DMR, east Cork
« on: June 05, 2018, 16:18:34 PM »
I'm getting regular DMR transmissions on 457.2000 MHz in the east Cork area (only have an analogue scanner with me so just produces the engine type sound from DMR), its active for some time (not recent or temporary), signal peaks in Castlemartyr area but receivable a good few miles either side driving on N25 (no hills to block it)  .

Any ideas what it is?

Not being smart, but it could be anyone.  You'll have to get a RTL-SDR dongle, SDR# software and DSD+ software to decode.

It could possibly be a previously analog frequency and the user switched to DMR
