So, I wanted to program all frequencies into my scanner for the car, as I do a lot of travelling throughout the country.
and don't want to miss anything of course !  ;)

But all the above is over 114 combinations, which is 228 channels to program... a bit much.
If you sort them, and delete the duplicates, then this is the list:

84.27500   74.05000
84.30000   74.07500
84.32500   74.10000

A 25khz semi-duplex list.... I wonder how many pairs are actually active?

good question, I was wondering that myself

also... some have a 12.5KHz spacing, and now I am wondering if there are other duplex frequencies in use, not listed here

and more... some of the frequencies which are listed on this list, I have as Civil Defence frequencies... anyone who like to comment on that ?

finally... on some of the frequencies listed, I can hear music playing (received at home in Macroom)

... hmmm... lots to sort out on this list

I have the following;
84.650  Wexford Ambulance
84.700 Cork Ambulance
84.750 Waterford
84.800 Clonmel Ambulance

Some of these may have change over to tetra, I can still hear 84.750 with some distortion on voice.

I noted something similar in Galway. According to my notes 84.662.5 was spotted with a music on as if someone left PTT depressed to rebroadcast some music. I was listening to it for a good while hoping to hear something what could give any clues what is this but the transmission suddenly ceased and didn't hear anything on this frequency anymore.

Cork Ambulance on 84.700 is silent due to switching over to Tetra. It may still be used for talking to Red Cross.

The Channels have changed since this document was written but new channels are available in the "national Incident Command Book" it can be downloaded from environ.ie also. I think when some of the channels changed a few of the frequencies changed also.

I was in london week before last. Looking out the window i spotted a couple of ambulances on the street below.  Nothing on top but single tetra stub antennas.  Makes our ambulances look like hedgehogs..
