Schedule "D" MF Broadcast, repetition of Inshore Forecast, Gale Warnings.This MF routine is only made if there are gale warnings in force.

Omitted schedule "B" & "C" are VHF only

broadcast the Shipping Forecast on MF 1752KHz at 08:33 & 20:33UTC.
EJK broadcast Radio Navigational Warnings(RNWs) on 1752KHz at 02:33, 06:33, 10:33, 14:33, 18:33 & 22:33UTC.

Malin Head Coast Guard Radio(EJM) broadcast RNWs on 1677KHz at 00:33, 04:33, 08:33, 12:33, 16:33 & 20.33UTC.

You can listen to the Arklow Shipping fleet call in their locations and ETA for next destination at 8.15 local time every morning and evening.

Conditions are excellent tonight with the frosty spell, Maratime stations coming in from all over Canada, Greenland and Iceland on 2.182mhz MM

I havnd heard the arklow shipping fleet for a while- is itvstill active?
Meanwhile on 2.260 in evenings there have been scottish skippers chatting

Was wondering that myself some time ago. Often monitored 2311 KHz around 8.15pm (thats the freq and time I read somewhere.. prob on this site) but nothing ever heard.

Last time i heard the arklow fleet i think was ladt year and could hear the various chats among the ships- and of course look up yje ships on ship finder ( a guilty pleasure that i do not share with my non radio friends)
The only thing i have hesrd on thr frequency is some rtty like signal
Has anyone heard anything!
