That old Jackson was mobile yesterday [Sat 19th] and from Coulghroe [Church] made a very impressive signal into Poland. I was complimented on a fine clear audio 5/9 from the Jackson and a new stinger.

I don't go mobile much and that represents on first DX with it actually. ;)

I was working in cork Mon/Tues and got into sicily Island 5 by9 and had a QSO with Joseph 1AT257 , I was parked up by cork  airport for a while. Lots of skip around during the day on 11 meters  :)

I think it's almost dead in the city now. I fade in an out in interest myself but used to have the set on a lot, three lads doing DX is about all I hear nowadays.

Is CB radio completely finished?
This  Group http://www.4x4sb.com/off-road seem to be the only people I can hear. They have their own ssb network.
